AIFS has offices in the USA, UK, Australia, Germany, France and Poland.

YOUR LOCAL IN-COUNTRY SUPPORT

We have interviewers in almost 60 different countries worldwide, ready to help you with your application and interview process. Many of our interviewers have been au pairs, and have lots of first-hand experience and advice that they will share with you. We work closely with all of our interviewers and international partners to ensure your application and interview process runs as smoothly as possible.

YOUR U.S. SUPPORT NETWORK

Each area, or ‘cluster’, where our au pairs live in the USA is supported by its own local Au Pair in America representative, known as the Community Counselors. Your Community Counselor is there to advise, inform and guide you to ensure that both you and your host family are having a successful time together.

The counselor is there to:

  • Interview host families to make sure they’re suitable for our program
  • Welcome you to the local area when you arrive
  • Arrange monthly meeting and social activities for all the au pairs in your cluster

U.K. HEADQUARTERS

Our U.K. headquarters, based in London, processes all au pair applications from around the world, and handles logistical aspects of the program like visas and flights. We also supervise the recruitment activities of our international partners.

U.S. HEADQUARTERS

Our U.S. headquarters, based in Connecticut, provides dedicated support to all of our program participants and are responsible for the recruitment and screening of host families and Community Counselors. Our Placement team works carefully to facilitate the selection and distribution of au pair profiles to our host families. The Regional Managers help with the work and activities of the Community Counselors throughout the States.
